The Story of Northeast Accessible Golf
Golf For All, a program of the Northeast Accessible Golf Association, is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible golf programs for people with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. Our programming utilizes the inherent therapeutic qualities of golf to promote inclusion, self-confidence, and independence, while also providing a community in which participants can thrive.
Golf For All runs year-round programming for veterans, people with autism, Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders, spinal cord injuries and paralysis, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, amputees, blind golfers, and more.
Our clinics are taught by PGA professionals who have successfully completed a certification process for teaching golfers with adaptive needs. Golfers of all abilities and gender are welcomed and we invite participants to bring their families and extended support network to participate in clinics. No previous golf experience is necessary and equipment is provided.
I’m enjoying having my husband returned to me.. I’m eternally grateful to your program for showing him how to relax both mentally and physically.” – M.B., wife of veteran of war who suffers from PTSD
